OOC: You are correct, I had concealment and total concealment mixed up. The worg only had concealment, as it is past dusk but not yet fully dark. On a reroll Nars is able to place the bolt accurately, dealing 8 points of damage. Its snarl deepens a bit in outrage at the wound as it is hit.

By the way, can we reserve the use of Sblock for situations where other members of the party are for some reason not supposed to view? I may be the only one, but using them to seperate out OOC comments tends to get me into the habit of looking inside them, which tends to result in my eventually reading things I'm not supposed to read. (You may have been trying to save my feelings on the rules mix up, which is nice, but I'm not all that delicate.)

Ishmael turns to the sound of the yelp, trying to discern the Worg's position. He moves toward the horses (30 feet) but maintains his readied action.

Lance +7 1d6+2
 

If any worgs are visible by Nars next turn, he takes another shot. If not, he readies an action to attack the next worg within 80 feet of his current position.
 

Round 2 Continues
Gorefoot, Javelin in hand, looks about for a worg.

Rodimus continues with his previous course of action, waiting for an enemy to aproach.

Persephone continues to wait, magic missile at the ready.

The worgs wait patiently for the party to spring their trap.

Nars quietly reloads his crossbow and prepares to shoot again.

Ishmael moves to N22, ready to attack.

"Fondar, it sounds like the horses are in trouble!" Percy dashes across the cabin to peer out the other window, hoping to be able to see the horses there.

OOC: Did she get a longspear or mace?
 

Ishmael continues to edge forward another 30 feet, peering at the area for threats and getting ready to attack the first thing that attacks him. Though his curiosity (and low wisdom) is pulling toward certain danger, he wants to remain within sight of his friends.

If, by the next action, the Worgs still don't reveal themselves, Ishmael will sweep the area around the horses with his Divine Inquisition.

OOG: As part of the Ready action, Ishmael also wants to dodge the enemy that triggers his readied attack. Since the target of Dodge can be reselected on any action, he'll target attacking opponents as needed.

AC: 21 + Dodge

Gorefoot remains ready to hurl a javelin at the first Worg he sees.

Rodimus continues with his previous course of action, waiting for an enemy to aproach.

Persephone, longspear trailing behind her, runs across the cottage. As she does, she yells to Gorefoot about her concern for the horses.

Nars continues to lay in wait for the Worgs, his crossbow at the ready.

Ishmael moves forward, scanning the area for evil.

Horses 2 and 3 break free from their bonds, and horse 4 bolts to the north west.
 


Gorefoot, nervous that Persephone might get herself hurt, drags his greatsword to the southwest corner of the cottage so he can see around the corner. He still holds his javelin at the ready.

OOC: Can Gorefoot carry his greatsword with one hand? I know he can't wield it that way, but I was curious.
 

(Carrying a greatsword in one hand is indeed possible, though I suppose I might onject if a character with a really low strength tried it. You can't attack or even threaten an area with it unless you have it in both hands though. A greatsword wielder doesn't need to actually drop the sword in order to drink a potion or any of a zillion other things you might want to use one hand to do.)
