The Faerie Woods [Knight Otu Judging]

Ishmael and Courage return to the party to report their findings or lack therof.

I cannot find them. Perhaps they have left the area for now. I suspect that they shall return every night to haunt us until they get what they want. He turns to the wizard.

We have to catch them somehow. Perhaps, Ishmael's lip curls from distaste at his suggestion. ...if we lay an ambush for them? They have good noses and can outrun us easily. I would imagine that they are also tough as wildling beasts are wont to be. Curses! If we had some kind of tracker, this would be a little easier.

Percy

"Ah! Gweny! We can't just let those wolves eat our horses! Let's go after them!"

Of course running on foot after horses and wolves may not be a good bet. Percy could be convinced that staying on at the cabin is their only real option.

I would imagine that they are as swift-footed as wolves Ishmael fields Rodimus' quesiton.

The Deep Halfling asks Trimble if he had any magicks like Nars had mentioned that could help them in this situation. He also asks about how much time the Wizard needed to prepare.

Would could be the Worg's purpose? Darting in and out like this... They have little to gain and clearly they are no match against Trimble's magical might. He looks at the Worg corpse. This stinks of a scheme, but what could it be?

Since no one is trying to talk Persephone out of her rash chase, nor moving to accompany her, should I take it that the rest of you watch as she chases the Worgs into the woods? ;)

OK, I know *that* isn't what's intended, but I'm unclear as to what you are all doing. Please clarify.

Nars is waiting for Trimble to answer whether he can cast a spell to locate the worgs. Failing that, Nars asks, "Percy, ah, can Fridley see them?"

"There must be someone, er, making it, ah, worth their while."
OOC: Locate object to find the nearest horseshoe might do the trick, though its range is a bit limited.

Seeing Persephone rushing out of the cottage, Gorefoot hurries to catch up to her. "Where are you going?"

Percy

"We've got to go save the horses!" Percy shouts from outside the cottage. "Let's go!" She doesn't go alone, however, but waits for the others to follow.
