The Fair Folk

I do so love to work with fey. I've been working on a project involving them over at Dicefreaks - I'd offer a link but the site is down and there is an imminent server move pending.

I like the imagination you've shown with these critters. Some mechanical notes: The honey nymph's honey should probably offer the effects of goodberry or a similar effect if it's so healthy. She has Diehard despite lacking the prerequisites. The llymha seems to be offensively too weak to merit a CR of 4 - seems like a low 3 at most to me. I'm not familiar with psionics and so I can't really offer any suggestions regarding the tromlui's mechanics.

As for the fluff, I see some purpose in the honey nymphs, but you haven't really provided much in the way of purpose or culture for the other two. Personally, I see fey as aspects of nature, and so I don't see 'slum' as a very appropriate area of concern for a fey.

Fey are a lot like wild animals. They don't necessarily go away when civilization invades their territory.

Aye, but that could rapidly get unbalanced as she dips her hair in and converts lakes worth of water into honey for bottling by the players if they, say, forced her to do it.

Don't even recall giving that to her... hmmm.

Well, for one, it can lift up a track can and use it as a greatclub. It also has invisibility at will and high sleight of hand along with improved disarm. It can thus steal them half blind and take away their weapons and use them itself, or hide them away. The weapon though can be converted into a much lesser metal as well. Even if they do get their weapons back, whoops, its going to disapear now.

These guys are not meant for combat. They are meant to torture you for extended periods. Play them like that and they'll give the players hades.

You are aware that house-hold fey are at least as common in tales as nature fey are, right? As elementals are to elements fey are to walks of life, whether it be natural or man-made.

Domovoi for instance are a good example.

And, I mean, when you can have cities around for umpteen thousands of years, many which could have been made before man even came around, 'slums' could have been a long-lasting enviroment than the natural surroundings. For instance there was no Saharah Desert several thousands years ago. Creatures however adapted and grew there.
