I agree. Ben should have an accent that is close to a Brooklyn accent. As for Pedro Pascal, I know several big fans of his whom have stated that he is miscast.
Ben will always sound like the cartoon from the 60s to me. I'm not too familiar with Pedro Pascal aside from the Mandolorian. He has been acting for quite a while now according to IMDB, but I think because he's been popular in more recent years I have a feeling he was cast to draw in fans rather than being the best actor for the role.

Are you saying the traditional nuclear family dynamic? If so, of course it did and very much still does. In fact, I would bet most (not all certainly) families are in deed traditional nuclear families …

nuclear families are in fact the second most common family composition, though they do dominate anglophone countries like the UK and USA. Worldwide though Extended families are the most common (ie household that might include grandparents, unmarried uncles, aunts and cousins).

Which given that Johnny is unmarried means that the F4 are a traditional extended family

Also, only 1/5 of the households in the US currently are nuclear families (two parents, one or more children). Single parent families are more common, which isn’t surprising since more than half of all marriages end in divorce (and that’s more likely with children). I imagine other Anglophone countries have similar numbers.

The thing about "more than half of marriages end in divorce" is the number of people who are on divorce #2, 3, 4... tends to skew the numbers. Many single parent families have always been single parent.

Are you saying you do not think that most (again, not all) families today (and even more-so a few decades ago) are comprised of a mother, father, and children living together in a single home?
Worldwide? Absolutely not. Never has been. Extended families have dominated and still do.

Nuclear families are a historically unusual construct that peaked in popularity post-WW2, and the way things are going in the West, especially as people have pointed out the Anglophone West, they're really diminishing again, with both extended families and single-parent families becoming relatively more common, as in fact are people simply living alone.
