Wooo! Sounds like a good start but I try to never get my hopes up anymore until a director and star are firmly attached to a project. At this point it sounds like it's just been optioned.

Interesting that the Flash they would mention is Jay Garrick instead of Barry or Wally, though that might just be the first thing the writer came across or he decided to go with chronological order. I'd probably rather see Wally or even Bart up on the big screen though Jay would make a fascinating movie.

David Goyer said last week that Ryan Reynolds (Hannibal King in Blade III) would make a perfect Wally West, so there's my guess as to which Flash we'll see.

As for soudtrack, my vote goes to Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run" for theme song!

Why on earth would they pick the guy who did "Blade: Trinity" to write and direct it? That doesn't bode well...

Of course, he's also the guy who wrote "Batman Begins", so that may balance things out. We'll see.

Nah! Born to Run was also the title of a story arc that explored Wally West's origin.

But hey, let's fill up a soundtrack CD with only "run" and "speed" themed songs!

In all likelihood, what you'd hear for a Flash soundtrack is Danny-Elfman-inspired hero-esque Techno music.
