"If you rent the barge and dress up like a worker here, the rest of us could hide under some sheets or cargo on the barge and pop up when we are needed."

"I think that's our best plan. I'll talk o the man again, and rent that barge. You guys buy some worker clothes, and something you could use to cover us and our weapons from view. Then come back one at a time, to minimize suspicion. We'll conceal ourselves, except for one of us working, and wait." says Raven.

ooc: Now that everything's worked up, we'll have things movig shortly. I only need to know who's on watch, since he'll be the one making the Spot and Disguise checks.

OOC: With her bluff synergy, Raven's got a +5 Spot, and a +3 disguise. She's happy to be the one on watch. If anyone else can beat her on those, or has another reason to watch, she'll be happy to let him/her.

OOC: Stulgar is in a similar situation to Siobhan. I also just learned that Stulgar is one of these new age Raving barbarians instead of a Raging one. Keep him away from the mosh pit. :uhoh:

A disguise is quickly arranged and the boat rented for a day. The plan is going on as expected, and soon Siobhan, Niccolo and Stulgar are hidden under a canvas under Raven's watchful eye. They soon realize that while it's a good hiding place, waiting several hours under those conditions will be extremely uncomfortable.

Raven herself manages a very good disguise (ooc: total of 21). Syberys position in the sky changes slightly as the day advances, and that's when Raven start noticing strange things. Some people look like they're not working very hard, as they repeat once and again the same activity and don't look like they're paying too much attention at what they are doing. Then a raven flies in. Raven doen't know exactly why, but she doesn't think it's behaving in an entirely natural way: it flies all over the area, stopping over masts and roofs where it can have a good look at the area, and then flies back to where it came.

Raven shakes her head. This will be dangerous, but its only to be expected.

Raven whispers to the others, as she moves her fishing poles, and hangs up laundry sheets to dry (& to disguise the others' positions). "I know it's tough staying still, but there are others here who are waiting. And a suspicious Raven just flew overhead. I think we're approaching the moment of the meeting. There are others here in disguise as well. What's our plan?"

"Will we attack the moment we see the adventurers? Wait to see if the other two sides betray each other? If we attack too soon, they may well both attack us. It might be nice to sow some dissent. Perhaps we could shout that we're on the same side as the adventurer's and see if that will get the Canniths to attack them as well."
