OOC: I was going to give RA a day to respond, he's been around off and on.

(OOC: Japan is really good about free Wireless internet compared to, like, Turkey. Siobhan is still surrounded, so she still has to do full defense)

Siobhan continues defending herself against the warforged, who this time can’t hit any of Lormand’s men, who concentrate all their efforts on defense. Ceshil tries to knock down Orerreth with another swirling mass of clashing colors, but Orerreth covers his eyes and continues standing. At the easter piers, the woman sees herself cornered, and angrily turns towards you and draws a red crystal –perhaps the red crystal would be more appropiate.

”Give that to me” says Lormand. ”You’ll be rewarded and I can protect you” Curiously, the only effect of that short speech is to vanish one of the images surrounding the woman.

”Kill her! Get the crystal!” yells Ceshil.

”You want this? It’s all yours!”. The woman faces eastwards and tosses the crystal. As it flies, she and the surviving half orc jump into the water and dissapear from sight. It lands on one of the boats, few feet from the advancing warforged. Orerreth jumps after it, but can’t jump far enough and falls into the oily waters.

While all of this unfolds, the swordman guading the chest spots Latharion and yells, callng the attention of his companion. He moves as Latharion reaches the first swordman and strikes true. The swordman falls.

[ooc: Latharion actually failed the attack roll, but it was close enough that I judged he’d have used an action point. If DrZombie doesn’t want to use it, feel free to indicate it and I’ll amend the post.

The crystal isn’t that big, of course.

(OOC: On her turn, Siobhan five-foot-steps down-left (no longer threatened) and slings a stone at the crystal in an attempt to destroy it)

Stulgar runs and jumps his way over to the crystal, where he takes his axe and drives it into the crystal.

OOC: Stulgar's jumps to the crystal (1d20+29=31, 1d20+29=47) (No problem, didn't need more than 15 feet). Spending an action point on attacking the crystal to make sure he hits. Stulgar attacks the Crystal (1d20+8+1d6=16, 1d8+5=12) Good thing I did.

Raven suspects the woman has thrown a false crystal. Will Raven join that chaos there?

OOC: When you say she and the half-orc 'dissapear', does that imply something magical, or do they simply jump into the water and go under? Presumably, they simply go underwater. Raven will move towards where they jumped in and try to figure out where they're going. She'll look for bubbles or waves that might hint at their direction.

ooc: Dissapear means he jumped into the water. It's quite opaque thats to all the detritus and floating waste, so anybody in there is difficult to see as long the manage to remain underwater, like the warforged or someone who just jumped in it. A living creature would have to return to the surface eventually, so that tactic isn't so great for someone who has to breathe. On another subject, apparently Orerreth recognized the crystal.

IC: Stulgar swiftly jumps on the boat and smashes the crystal in a hundred pieces along with the boat's bottom. Ceshil and Lormand look at him with horrifed faces, but soon recover. "Get them!"*

*Meaning you and what's left of the adventurer group. More to come later.

Latharion engages the swordsman near him, then tries tu pull away the chest.

"Was that the real crystal, Orerreth?!" Raven shouts. She surveys the scene. There's not enough room for a proper running start to jump over to the nearby barge. If the crystal has been destroyed there is no longer reason to fight. She delays her action for now.
