I looked at this book at my FLGS and saw the Large-but-not-really-large rules and thought "Oh my GOD!" and I saw the bonus jumping rules and thought "Where is the downside to this race?" +1 level adjustment?? That's it??

I think Gurps is looking better and better.

Like many folks, I'm more interested in adding more culture to the races we already have, and I'm reluctant to add new races. The overlap with the half-giant bugs me too. Goliaths are not bad though, if you're looking to add new races.

The only race book I'm looking forward to is Races of Destiny to see what they do with humans and half-elves.
