Team Greyhawk 2024 for me please.
The fear of losing my beloved rugby avatar is even more motivation for my dream of a fitting return to the original campaign setting to celebrate the 50th.

Honestly, when people originally floated the idea of a boxed / slipcase set, I initially pictured the core slipcase of the PHB / MM / DMG or the Tashas / Xanathars / Mordenkainens sets, and thought to myself, "there's no way in 5e they would give that amount of treatment to any setting, barring maybe FR".

Simply didn't occur to me that they'd just cut the page count down; though I will say I'm still pretty surprised they cut it down as aggressively as they did.
Right. The more I sit with this the less I like it. Some part of me thinks that all I need is the basic mechanics and they can skip the lore, but another part of me wants them to do a big book of Spelljammer. I’m fine with three smaller books, but 64 pages. It’s not worth doing a table of contents for. Hope the end papers are printed, too.

I can appreciate that: it wouldn't have likely gotten a higher page count ad a single book, and probably a similar spread based on Ravenloft and Strixhaven. I had a good feeling at first, and the more I consider the table utility the more cool I am with it.

Want in on the game action?

I don’t bet, but I’ll predict.

What I want:
2023. Dark Sun or Nentir Vale or Mystara.
2024. Meh.

Which means that we’ll get:
2023. Planescape.
2024. Forgotten Realms.
