The Hunted (DM: IronSky, Judge: ???)

Devinihm, wilden druid

Devinihm shuffles uneasily after what happened with the door before, but smiles widely as Auntie Mab and her new, bottled 'assistant' handle the locks with ease. Of course, once the door's open, he tenses again.

"Now we see what the pack was hiding in its den, yes?"

The Hunted: Day 1, Hour 11, Minute 30

The door clicks open and Mab proudly pulls it open revealing an abundance of treasure...

GM: What exactly that treasure is has you to be determined yet, partially since not all of you have wishlists on your character sheets. I'll give everyone a day or so to add or update their wishlists before I start guessing what you want.

DMDanW, I'd approve Xander, except I don't think that healing word is divine anymore (hence the thread I linked before). Thus, I don't think Healing Word adds the +1d6+3 any more (though the rest of your cleric powers do).

"Good work, we make a good team. Next up, we learn how to setup an ambush without these noisy people around, eh?" Illarion smiles

OOC: Apologies for my continued newbishness, but as pertains to magic items: they have to match Devinihm's level, is that right? So I couldn't put anything on the list that's not level 2?

Xander stands idly by in the background, saying and doing nothing, preparing himself for the confrontation to come with the killer...

Well I was counting on this proposal http://www.enworld.org/forum/5394906-post1.html to be approved and not to have to worry about it. Personally I feel that WotC's decision to nerf the pacifist cleric was uncalled for, as it so far has NOT proven itself overpowered to me, both in Xander who I play and from the character Minharath who plays in the game I run. I could see the change if it were an at-will ability, like they did with Astral Seal, as that would have been too powerful if they had not.
I can if you like make the change to satisfy the current WotC rule so that you can approve Xander and he can get his xp and continue on. Was there anything else that you saw that was out of place?

GM: This is a level 2 adventure, so all items will be level 3-7.

As for Xander, I agree with you about the pacifist, but I don't get to dictate the rules. How about this: change your sheet to match WotCs change, but for the rest of my adventure Xander gets a +1d6+3 competence bonus to his Healing Words :)

I'll reveal the treasure tonight after I get back from work.

The Hunted: Day 1, Hour 11, Minute 40

After searching the room thoroughly, the group finds a vast wealth of gold, gems, and jewelry, namely:

  • 2000 silver pieces
  • 650 gold pieces
  • A bag of pearls of various qualities, worth about 100gp each
  • The paintings of an island with no artist's name on them, but of very high quality, probably worth 250gp each.
  • A heavy belt that seems to amplify the power of the strongest strikes
  • The broken shard of a magical orange gem looks like it would fit easily into the end of a staff
  • A pair of gloves with rusty steel plates sewn into them.
  • A gnarled, jagged staff that glows faintly with dark magics
  • A set of robes sewn of a strange white cloth that glints and shimmers in the lamplight
  • A nice suit of leather armor that looks like it was made for a woman
  • A gleaming holy symbol of Maros
  • A branch of a strange tree with deep red bark laced with gold
[sblock=Treasure]Here is the proposed treasure allocation:
Earth: Stalwart Belt(Level 6) + 340gp
Raijin: Siberys Shard of the Mage(Level 3), Blood Gauntlets(Level 4) + 580gp
Devinihm: Magic Staff +2(Level 6) + 340gp
Xander: Holy Symbol(Maros) +2(Level 6) + 340gp
Illarion: Staff of Ruin +1(Level 3), Shimmering Armor +1(Level 4) + 580gp
Mab: Gambler's Suit Leather Armor +2(Level 6) + 340gp

2500gp worth of riches
- 240 x 2 (Level 6 item is worth 240 more than a 3 and a 4)
= 2040gp
/ 6
= 340gp

So, 340gp for everyone except Raijin and Illarion who get 240 more.

Final note: I use the random treasure generation in the Rules Compendium to determine what you guys got(I love random treasure generation systems, favorite thing from the Compendium and what I missed most from 3e).[/sblock]

GM: I made the modification I noted before the Xander and approved him. Hope you don't mind me making the change DMDanW - otherwise I couldn't approve him by the L4W charter. Continue to use your Healing Words as you were before for the remainder of the adventure.
