Nah, "Dave" only refers to one specific end of the horse...

I'm pretty sure the entire point is to frame the conversation to imply (if not out right say) your favorite pizza place's pizza is the equivalent of McDonald's Burgers or Taco Bell Tacos and that anyone who likes it has the taste of a grade schooler.

One of the other cool features is that you design your own wand, then as you progress through the game opening a chest or completing a quest you can get different handles.
