Since this is a simple factual correction without political valence-
Property taxes are a matter of state law. While all states have some type of property tax, it is also the case that some states have specific carveouts that allow property to not be taxed (either in whole or in part). As always, look to the specific laws of your jurisdiction, and don't depend on random sweeping (mis)characterizations of the law.
TLDR; whether you're a senior in Alabama, or a disabled veteran in Arkansas, or are the surviving spouse of a first responder in Florida, you are not subject to property taxes.
I (and this is sincere) appreciate the correction. The last time I had looked into the matter (admittedly some time ago) there were very few exceptions in the states I checked.
