Its well known that George Harrison financed Monty Pythons 1979 "Life of Brian". But did you know that because in England in early to mid 70s (and earlier) English bands were tax exiles, and as it was a tax write-off, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Genesis financed 1975s "the Holy Grail"? Its towards the end of the below linked movie but not sure exactly where. I found this interesting was surprised I'd never heard/read this before watching this Wednesday morning.
