If you haven't seen Nesmith's "Elephant Parts", it's well worth the watch. Very reminiscent of SCTV.

I'd only seen "Rio" from that. This is great! That first clip reminds me of the Bobcat Goldthwait scene in One Crazy Summer.

When I read some of the comments on EnWorld, I think that the poster must have a grudge against roleplaying games, which they document with accounts of unsatisfying campaigns, unrealized attempts to create their own games, unmitigated loneliness, and an outsized sense of both local and global distress that seemingly only affects them.

So it's not just me that reads some posts and thinks "there's clearly a lot going on that this person is not saying, but I guess a forum post is cheaper than therapy to resolve that".
