I don't think that's a good solution, no. I think it is at best solving a thing that's not the real problem you're having or seeing.

I've noticed a slightly different pattern.

1. Pick something you don't like.
2. Convince yourself that it's a problem that needs fixing.
3. ???
4. PROFIT!!!

Oh, I like that! Here's another one-

1. Announce that there's only two possible positions regarding something you don't like.

2. State that your position is objectively the correct positions, because REASONS!

3. ?????

4. PROFIT!!!!!

If you think it's a problem, then you need to fix it for your game.
