Me: My traffic is so bad it takes me a half an hour to get out of my driveway!

Truth: On a good day it takes me 30 minutes to get from Yonge and Dundas, to the ramp to the Gardiner Expressway. That's about 3 Km.

Here in Los Angeles we call that suicide. Even if you are close enough, you're putting your life into the hands at least a million bad drivers.

It's over a 40 Km trip to work, one way, so that's not an option. We had a guy who would ride his bicycle 25 Km to work, every day. He ended up with a pacemaker and is now retired. Exercise will kill ya.

We're probably moving out of SoCal in the next three years for a new job and finding a walkable/bikeable city is one of my top goals.

So many people from Cali are moving here to Nashville TN. It is growing faster then the traffic infrastructure can handle it.

I do love the food and I've got family out there, but I don't think that's where we're likely to land, as much as I'd love to get Memphis barbecue into my regular fast food rotation.
