This is why I stopped using Reddit a few years ago - because its structure trains you to make the comment that will spark the most reaction, instead of the reasonable response.Lately, I am just making well though out and reasonable posts. They get a couple likes but zero replies. Am I doing something right or something wrong?
Oh yeah, I stay away from reddit. Its great if you have a simple question to get an answer for, its absolute garbage for having a discussion. This is why I stopped using Reddit a few years ago - because its structure trains you to make the comment that will spark the most reaction, instead of the reasonable response.
I know right? I'd be the least influential influencer.

I mean, I am hoping somebody will expand on the idea and discuss it from a myriad of perspectives to make for an interesting discussion. Though, folks seem more intent on taking a position over interests these days. Thats not an EN World thing, or a gamer thing, its an entire internets thing. The problem with doing that is, unless you have something that someone is going to take offense over, sometimes all you can do is nod your head. Unless you disagree, or think it needs enlargement, there's often not much to say. Its one of the reasons most discussion is so laden with disagreement.
Oh come now everybody loves to read dozens of fisking posts about undead horses.silly me i forgot that the issue has already been decided and there's no point in going against the grain
