Interestingly, there is still a Campbell's Alphabet Dice Game on the market. I have a copy and I saw another copy for sale over the weekend. It comes in a can that looks like a Campbell's Soup can.
They still sell educational tools that consist of an entire 26-can set with each letter getting its own can to itself. Not exactly how alphabet soup actually works, but the idea of going out for groceries with a list that consist of "three cans G, two cans R, and one can Q for the fussy kid" is kind of amusing.
 


How can everyone* here both be familiar with Crisis on Infinite Earths and all of DC Comics' subsequent continuity resets and simultaneously be baffled by the idea that D&D settings don't necessarily have continuity between editions, just within them? That's easier to keep straight than whatever allegedly happened in DC Comics' Zero Hour event.
all i know about the various crisis is Superboy Prime punching reality.
