It was low Wisdom on my part, because firstly I read the opening line about a car accident and failed to perceive that the thread wasn't still referencing the song The Way by Fastball, secondly because I got halfway through this comment before I noticed that you specified people in the presented conversation which so far as I know does not include me, and thirdly because every time I swing by this thread I feel like I'm failing some insight checks.
