Taking an art appreciation class must be more difficult now because every time you start on a new artist, you'd be like " Along with this piece of work and then they were a horrible person because of and therefore we should no longer find joy in it"
Art appreciation usually means understanding the context in which art is created. Whether someone is allowed to enjoy that is up to them. But likewise, other people are allowed to not enjoy it or patronize it. If you like the art, that should be sufficient; it doesn't need to be voted Most Popular by the rest of the kids.

I just learned that Nintendo enjoys direct investments from the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund.

8.26%?

I'm guessing there are few publicly related companies that don't have just about everyone having their fingers in them through investment or sovereign wealth funds. But that does seem like a higher than usual percent and makes me sad.

I can imagine someone somewhere trying to use this as slippery slope whataboutlism for another current topic, and it feels like that would be excremental. But this thread isn't the place for me to vent on it.

I found it in this article Why are people arguing about Atomic Heart? which before now I never really thought about the Activision thing. The article's comment section is also closed lol.

" Though, of course, the takeaway from this probably isn't that Atomic Heart shouldn't be criticised, but that far more games should be."
