And internet debates usually happen between two or more people that have already decided their stance on a subject and are typically less than willing to change their position. It's extremely hard to convince someone if they've already decided that they're right and aren't open to evidence contrary to their worldview.

I found this to be true, but the value is from a third undecided person who gets to read both sides to help make up their mind.

I know, because I'm that person quite often.

I'm not holding my breath on the Amazon series adapting that specific scene, though.
