When The Orville played it for laughs in S1E9, which is when I quit watching.
To be fair, I think the writers were hoping the fact that it was used on Seth McFarlane's character, who was a raging a-hole at the time, would make it more acceptable to audiences, and I remember after the fact it was made clear in the show that this was still not okay...

Do you know what I love?

The evergreen, "No, you need to stop arguing with me because we're threadjacking."

"Fine, but you have to stop arguing with me!"

"Totally agree, you have to stop arguing with me!"

"Yeah, buddy, you need to stop arguing with me!"

"I'm not your buddy, friend, and it's your fault for this argument, so you have to stop."

"I'm not your friend, guy, and thank you for acknowledging that we need to stop, so stop arguing."

etc.

The tail end of Critical Role Campaign 1 has a Love Potion being used for laughs, and I think that was in... 2017?

I'm not holding my breath on the Amazon series adapting that specific scene, though.
I don't know if there's ever been a trope that's fallen out of favor as quickly and decisively among fantasy fans as the love potion.

More broadly, enchanters were routinely seen as the positive, friendly wizard types through third edition, as they accomplished their goals without physical violence.

Now, they're basically Bill Cosby.

I think the shift in perception is probably mostly correct, although I still think there's a place for folks like Obi-Wan Kenobi to just convince guards to move on without hassling them instead of hacking his way through Mos Eisley (which he probably could have done, given how far imperial standards had fallen by that point).
