On a sidenote - I don't know if this is true for Hydrox - but Oreos are vegan. Like, the fact that a "cream-filled cookie" is just naturally vegan concerns me.

Not because I hate vegan food or anything in principle, but I'm of the opinion that "cream-filled" should, you know, have some dairy in it.
No no no, Oreos are "creme" filled. Big difference!

I'm convinced that 9 out of 10 people here who post about 4th Edition D&D have never actually played it...certainly not recently anyway, judging from the things they write about it. It has reached near-mythical levels of praise (or disdain, depending on who's doing the mentioning). No game could possibly be as good/bad as some folks keep insisting.

Personally, I never cared for the system. But hot dog, it had some good lore.

Whenever I see one of those conversations breaking out, part of me thinks about saying something, but then I'm like, "Forget it, Jake. It's 4e-Town."

We tried it a couple of times and didn't particularly care for it. It had a lot of neat ideas however, and I think that when the devs threw out the bathwater in preparation for making 5e there were lots of baby left in it.

Well, yeah! But sometimes, in the wee hours of the night .... don't you ever just want to type ...

Ak-shually, I heard that people didn't like that game very much because the classes were same-y.

You haven't seen "same-y" 4e, until you've had a party made up of high initiative area casters (with the exception of one Cleric) lay waste to everything that you throw at them.
