Well, necromancy is the superior battle tactic. So that's where the best battles are bound to happen. To quote Doctor Who's Missy:Wow, that necro immediately went nuclear into e.war.
Welcome to mainstream SF.which, in retrospect, is a quote that sounds really smart but is actually really dumb.
It only matters to us because we generally bury our dead (mostly) whole. Rather than any kind of large-scale processing or recycling. It’s not as snappy but it would be more accurate to say our key weakness is sentimentality. At a guess in the Doctor Who universe wasting all that land and resources on the dead is not all that common.Well, necromancy is the superior battle tactic. So that's where the best battles are bound to happen. To quote Doctor Who's Missy:
"Do you know the key strategic weakness to the human race? The dead outnumber the living."
(which, in retrospect, is a quote that sounds really smart but is actually really dumb. Really? That's our key strategic weakness? I'm guessing it's sorta correct, but it also applies to every single civilisation that has lived for more than one generation. It makes no sense! AAARGH!)
