The "I Didn't Comment in Another Thread" Thread

I use the ignore option that shows me that they posted, but I have to click to see what it was. It feels like it helps me in those cases.

I can't do that. Too tempting.

That said, I try to be more sparing in my ignore now. I used to use it much more frequently as a "time-out," when things got heated. Normally, I'd take a break for a week or so, then check in and "un-ignore" if everything seemed kosher.

Well, seems that a few people chose to ignore me because I took a time-out and ignored them. And since I can't see them, I can't tell if it's worth unignoring them. So it goes.

There's a lot of that going around. I had to add someone I generally enjoy engaging with to my ignore list because they apparently decided that every single thread was a hill they were willing to die on. Ugh.

On a sliding scale, I want D&D to be closer to Calvinball than Cribbage.

I was thinking maybe squad leader could be on your scale somewhere between organic chemistry and the campaign for North Africa.

I've never played it, but if it's anywhere near as complicated as CfNA I want absolutely none of it.
Me either. Life is too short.

I would play some combat commander or perhaps a little conflict of heroes…a little war of the ring after looking at the rules for a few days…

But the juice is not worth the squeeze for some of those other games…

I am no longer motivated or smart enough. Damn Anheuser’s syndrome…
