A lot of violence has been done to marshmallow fluff today, too many culinary atrocities to address till the dust settles. I have not been so shocked or horrified by cruelty to fluff since watching The Stuff in theaters (and experience I am still recovering from all these years later). But I must rectify one thing: Marshmallow does not equal marshmallow fluff. Fluffernutter is not a synonym for marshmallow or marshmallow fluff. Fluffernutter is the mixing of peanut butter and marshmallow fluff. You can use fluff in place of marshmallow fluff. This is an acceptable synonym

I always feel depressed when people imply, hint at, or otherwise push the idea that "if you're interested in a fantasy version of something that you wouldn't approve of in real life, it means you actually do approve of it in real life."

I really thought we learned this lesson a long time ago with the whole "violent video games" nonsense back in the 90s, but here we are again. 🤷‍♂️

I don't know about you Alzrius but there was a straight line from playing Mortal Kombat and schoolyard fights ending in impalements and decapitations. And because they too were also hypnotized by the Sega's display of digital gore, the teachers wouldn't stop it but instead shouted "Fatality!". People forget the landscape of carnage these games left in their wake
