2. an urban legend that the dark and atmospheric song (In the Air Tonight) which was such a departure from his usual work that it was actually a confession to murder.

The more common rumor about that song is that he witnessed something bad - a sexual assault, a murder, or someone allowing a preventable death.

The album was written just after his marriage broke, so some also thought it was a response to his witnessing his wife cheating on him.

None of which is true. He was just in kind of a dark place, and wrote some dark music for that album.

I totally get this. There are foods I don't like. In all seriousness, I am just honestly surprised that black olives have the same strong negative reaction that pineapple on pizza does. I never encountered it before (know lots of people who don't like black olives, just didn't realize it was this controversial as a food). I've been googling it and it looks like this a pretty deep topic in some quarters lol

I think there's a slight difference:

For people who don't like black olives on pizza, the approach we see is, 'Ew, I won't have them on pizza."

For people who don't like pineapple on pizza, the approach we see is, "Ew, you shouldn't have them on pizza."

Personal preference vs breaking the laws of man Nature
*Edit: fixed it :)

It's a hit, flop, hittie to the hittie, a hit, no a flop and it won't stop.

You haven't heard Rapper's Delight until you've heard it in the original Swedish.

I recently saw a Youtube video where "In the Air Tonight" was referred to as "a drum fill wearing a song as a hat."

So I'm going to be early on this ...

D&D 2 .... is a flop.

No, wait, it's a hit!

No, wait ... it's a flit! Or a hop.
I mean it might not make what it needs to in the initial theater run, but using some numbers I just made up and guessing what the box office might be at some random drive-in theater it shows at for it's 20th anniversary celebration I'm confident we can say it was a hit especially if that theater owner buys a Powerball ticket and wins the $1 billion jackpot with a dollar that some guy forgot on the counter of the concession booth. That counts as movie revenue, right?!
