Also four years ago on this day I came very very very close to dying. This was the day I got air lifted to another hospital because of a collapsed lung.
Very happy you are here to commemorate not having done so.Also four years ago on this day I came very very very close to dying. This was the day I got air lifted to another hospital because of a collapsed lung.
Wicked is one of my two favorites with the other being Hamilton. My mom got me into musicals and so in senior year of high school, my class read the abridged version of the book and at the start of the year I asked "what if i already know it?" and we watched one of the stage productions, i think it was the 10th anniversary or some such. Joke: Les Mis is the story of a parole officer doing all he can to check on one of his cons.

Wolverine is being chased by Gladiator. Catwoman gets knocked up and goes to see Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter and Borat. Then Wolverine agrees to raise Catwoman’s baby, and she grows up to star in Mamma Mia.-Hugh Jackman & Anne Hathaway on the plot of Les Miserables @ the 19th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
In one of the family photo albums is my mom's ticket from when she and my grandma went to go see Phantom of the Opera. So you can see why it's going to be bitter sweet to go see Wicked.
I defer to your greater experience...although I too have been an Eddie in my time. My physique is ill-suited to any of the other roles. Which is fine, since I've dated a few Columbias in my youth.Been to over 500 shows, seen it in 12 US states, performed in 10 (including at the national conventions), seen five different productions of the stage play, and met several of the actors from the movie...
I mean, technically he's there for the dinner scene. And there. And there. And over there. It's really quite a meaty part when you think about it.Most consider Eddie to be a throwaway part because Hot Patootie is his only appearance in the film...
Few indeed are those who can say otherwise. Folly is indeed the province of youth, but that doesn't mean you can't have a good time making questionable choices. But there is much I don't remember or can't explain about my first two years of college for reasons I would rather not post publicly.![]()
I don't know about that. Most of those same people are old enough to remember when the Simpsons was a filler skit on the Tracey Ullman* Show.I think the average ENWorlder is 20 to 30 years too old to get this joke.
Well, this joke is riffing off a meme born from the end credits of the Spongebob Squarepants movie, which I suspect far fewer posters are familiar with.I don't know about that. Most of those same people are old enough to remember when the Simpsons was a filler skit on the Tracey Ullman* Show.
But then you'd have had to not comment in the other thread.Woops, wrong thread.
(Almost left it here anyway, because --looks at thread title--)
Well, maybe. My father was nearly 80 when he died a couple of years back, and I know he'd seen the film so I picked it up through osmosis. Spongebob was the only cartoon he'd watched since Rocky & Bullwinkle went of the air, which always seemed to me like a long jump to take but people like what they like.Well, this joke is riffing off a meme born from the end credits of the Spongebob Squarepants movie, which I suspect far fewer posters are familiar with.
