The sheer utility of a Tomelock with every ritual spell is actually astounding. He becomes the go to guy for out of combat use. And with Eldridge Blast being the beast it is, he doesn't really lose too much power, either.

They are pretty good. It's one of the reasons I'm considering not my necromancer, but the wizard's in combat utility could still be good, especially a necromancer as he'll want his slots for minions.
