The Mandalorian & Grogu Trailer

At least amongst the younger generations, I don't think "Star Wars" carries much more clout than "Grogu". Its just stuff old people like, like Elvis.

You may be right. My idea of "younger generations" is people in the late teens - early 20s, who had the chance to see the sequel trilogy in theaters. I don't really know how kids in high school or younger connect with SW.

A lot of the teens who could have seen the sequel trilogy - didn’t. As for pre-teens, the original movie is slow and dull (but the Lego version is okay).

Emphasis on this looking like the "AI mill" end of the AI trailer genre, where it's just a series of "look we have these characters" shots. It doesn't seem to reveal nearly as much plot and world-building as something like:

This would be a greater deviation from Star Wars than the Sequel Trilogy.

However, as long as they made it as a non-connected to Canon, total parody of it...A movie like this would ROCK!!!

Hard.

I think it would l have a hard R-rating though (something no Star Wars film has ever had to my knowledge).

Of course, I'm somone who loved Battle Beyond the Stars and Star Crash...so my taste in the matter may not be the best to represent popular sentiments on the matter.

That said...loved the Line...Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn't need the Force, the Force needs him.
