1. What variants of MFs are there?

2. How many and what type of PrCs?

3. New Monsters? Gotta have new monsters.

4. Templates you say?

5. Magic items?

6. Psionics? Probably not, but hey, I love 'em and want to know.

Thanks for the review. For the record, I don't care about, and am not trying to convince you that my view is The One True View or anything. I'm just trying to get you to understand that some of us hold this view, and however much you might not see it, we have our reasons for holding the view we do.

Gaming has never been close to gaining acceptance by the mainstream. If you think it has, can you cite some evidence of said?

And it never will be. Don't put words in my mouth. I know very well it is not and never will be mainstream. I don't care about that... I like a lot of things that aren't, and some of the things that are mainstream today I think were actualy better before they became mainstream.

Be aware that when you argue that as gamers we should sacrifice our simple pleasures...

Like I said, I don't hate the stuff that's on the covers. I like a lot of it. I just don't think it belongs, well, on the covers.

This has nothing to do with my self esteem. If this were just a question of "Oh, people think I'm wierd", I wouldn't care. Heck, I sometimes do things just to make others think I *am* wierd. I draw the line when something starts to actualy cause tangible problems in my life, though.

Try being told not to come to the next family reunion unless you've gave up gaming, then you might see things in a different light.

Try loosing two girlfriends in a row because you game.

Try having to deal with having "Jesus is your savior!" pamphlets slipped into your locker on a near-daily basis for your entire highschool life because you game. Oh sure. That's funny at first. It gets old in a week. It gets frustrating in a month. It gets downright unpleasent by the end of the first year. You don't want to know where it gets to by the middle of the second year.

All of those have happened to me.

Mind you. Two of those have nothing to do with the sterotype in question. But it's all a facet of the same whole. Excuse me for wanting to, oh, make my life a little nicer.

I'm not asking for assimilation. I'm not asking for you to "tow the party line" or anything. I'm just asking you to realize that, for some of us, things like this are actualy a concern.

Bottom line: if you state an opinion in an open forum, it will not always be accepted blithely.

If it did, the world would be a dull place. I'm fine with you challenging my opinion. I challenge others on theirs all the time. But don't dismiss my opinion, or mock me for holding it. *Those are two good ways to get on my nerves.

*Certain exceptions can be made here... I don't care how strongly you believe in your opinion that slapping yourself with a live squid is healthy, I'm probably going to mock you for an opinion like that.

It may well be challenged, and you will be expected to either stand & deliver or forfeit. Be prepared, my good man.
