So, you might be asking what’s the big deal about a dog sitting? Well Jax has a bad hip and he either stands or lays down for the last two years. Started hip injections monthly. Not sure if they are helping or the ribs just smell that damn good…

Though the studies aren't entirely conclusive, there's at least some solid evidence if its the injections I think that they help.

Say hello to Lily. Almost three year old Great Pyrenees.

Lily checks out a chicken.

My boss brings in her great pyranees who looks just like your Lily (my boss's pooch is named Keeley - not after the Serenity character I don't think; my boss doesn't tend towards nerd). Keely comes in on deadline days to help us all chill out, travelling from cube to cube. She does give us boomps if we don't give her at least 30 seconds of chin rubs or between the ear scratches. Seems like a fair trade for stress relief. Oh, and she's famous!
She's the 5th one down in the local paper...

Also, my old dog (rip) was not a fan of chickens - glad to see Lily is gentle; and surprised the chicken isn't, well, chicken.
