This grrrrl taught us about what toy destroyers really were. We didn’t realize there were such things as toys for “aggressive chewers” (like Kong black toys, heavy-duty Monster ropes or GoDog stuffies) until we got her.
She’s pictured with a Tuff/Tuffy (?) dog toy that has products that occasionally sported “Tiger Tested” labeling. Her usual method involves finding the squeaky bit and targeting it until it’s removed. After that, a toy might last months, but it may also be undone quite rapidly if she decides to remove the stuffing like a stage magician producing an endless stream of handkerchiefs. (And with similar flourish, too!)
Some others we like were the Holee Roller, which we bought primarily for yard play because our BCs kept deflating their soccer balls. In the pix below, you’ll see that several toys have little holes- that’s from Miss Merle Grrrl “lobotomizing” them.
And the “Wiggle Giggle”/“Wobble Wag” toys are thick, hard plastic pretty damn tough, as long as you get one bite enough that your pet can’t get a solid grip on them at the widest part. (You do have to put up with their noise and pay attention to when they eventually break.)
