"Careful cousin, this could be some kind of foul necromancy at work!" one of Amirad sketches a holy symbol of protection, and the other comes to rest on his sword hilt.

Amirad waits anxiously for some kind of response from Doman.

Mo somehow, and she will never know how, managed to hold back the scream which rose to her lips as the cold, clammy hand grasped her ankle.

For just a moment she stood, unable to move or even to think coherently but her training kicked in instinctively. Her hand swiftly drew her sword as her lips started to intone a prayer of repulsion designed to banish creatures of the undead variety.

"if this be undead, then," he removes his holy symbol from the folds of his clothing, "it won't like thin ... foul creature of the nether night! In the name of all mighty soninar,I command thee to turn!!!"

Lidia was not paying attention to the body, so will not be aware that anything is wrong until someone points it out. Therefore, she will continue waiting for the others wondering if the sky, or in this case the ceiling, is going to fall.

Once the others start drawing weapons, Lidia will notice something is wrong and will ready her club and shield.

OOC

IVV. We are having a family crisis and I have to fly back to the UK tonight. Internet access will be unpredictable. I'll post if I can, if not so can you NPC Lidia please. Hopefully, I will be back next weekend.

"Dead bodies don't move." Hulan remarks, moving forward, using his staff and weight to keep the body squarely on the ground. "He is either undead or has been animated by some unseen force. Turn him and if it doesn't work, help me restrain him until we can figure out what to do."

OOC: Amirad taps his foot . . . checks his watch. He takes a slug of water from his canteen. . . He checks to see if the wires to his virtual reality helmet have come undone again. ;)

"I'll help you Hulan. Dying would have been bad enough, becoming one of the cursed undead would be just too bad."

Mo reached down to brandish her Holy symbol in front of the body in order to help turn the beast.
