Okay, back to the reviews. Just think people you get a free PDF and all you have to do is read it (which you were going to do anyway) and write a review on it. THe second part can be a bit tougher but it is a great way to explore a product and really let yourslef be heard.

Check in with CMG then, Umb. You were trying to figure out an Alt method before and this is as good as any, I suppose.

I've never had this happen to me personally. Obvious, its happened to others but I guess I have lucked out. Actually, I hear very little from publishers. I get the occasionally thank you but for the most part it seems they just don't respond to reviews.

Writers and publishers need thick skins. Reviewers may perhaps need even thicker...

I usually don't respond to reviews unless I think there's something factually wrong in the review. I agree with some reviews and disagree with others, but I appreciate them all. Well almost all that is... I'd love to only get glowing reviews, but as long as the negative ones state their case well, I just have to chalk it up to differences of opinion, or, god forbid, me just putting out something that's meh even though I tried to make it wow!.
