Spoilers The Pitt Season 2 Discussion

The more I think about it, the more I see Robby acting like Langdon from last season. This is a dude in crisis, and he’s pulling out every defense mechanism he has to avoid the fact that he needs help.
Oh, he's definitely in crisis. He keeps dropping hints he won't come back from his sabbatical - and the show keeps foreshadowing that he may attempt suicide or crash his bike. He may have recovered somewhat from the mass casualty event of season 1, but he's nowhere near being in a good headspace. My prediction is there will be a crisis event coming up for him on that.

With respect, I feel she's overstepping her bounds, probably for personal reasons that have not been revealed.

If she would rather his life been ruined, then she doesn't understand recovery.
There may be personal reasons that haven't been revealed yet, but Langdon did commit a pretty serious crime - particularly tampering with the Ativan in the medication cabinet.

And now Dr. Al-Hashimi knows the accusation. She'd been pretty positive about Langdon so we'll see if that changes.

My hope (guess) is that a combination of his biker buddy’s diagnosis and maybe some timely words of wisdom from Dr. Abbot and a wake up call from Dr. Al-Hashimi help bring him around.

Jeez, I don’t think I’ve been this invested in a show in quite some time.

Taken from a reddit post:

"We knew episode 11 was going to be a controversial one, but back when we filmed in November, the Alex Pretti killing had not happened yet. It was just a horrible, horrible coincidence that it mirrors what happens to Jesse.

Despite this, the Pitt fanbase has been hugely, hugely supportive of the portrayal and have reached out to praise the performance while stating how it made them sick to their stomachs.

Even saw a post in which someone asked "how desperate and pathetic of an actor someone must be to take a role like an ICE agent", and Pitt fans were extremely supportive of the cast in their replies.

You will sometimes get demonized by fans when playing roles like this, so I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for being so great.

(Note that I have not read any Facebook comments about the show)"

I'll note I have seen the post he refers to, i also saw a post that said ""I would play an ICE agent munching on a baby’s arm like a chicken wing if it got me on the The Pitt" "
