Spoilers The Pitt Season 2 Discussion

Yeah actors never play villainous roles.

It has been a while since I checked in here (I don't often keep up to date on shows) - you quote me there, but I did not say that, or anything to that effect. How about you straighten that out, please and thanks?

We found Whitaker's badge! Also Isa having to pretend to be a regular drunk person with a microphone when she’s actually a broadway diva

Hopefully both Abbot and Langdon's talk got through to Robby. Dang that emergency C-section scene went hard.

"Is that guy dead?"
“hyper narcolepsy”
:ROFLMAO:

It was a decent season, sad that Mohan won't be back for the next season.

I love this show so damn much. I'm already having withdrawals now thats its over!

Its still interesting to me that while season 1 medically had much more intense things (with the whole shooting at the end), this season just frayed at the nerves of everyone. So while at the end of the day on the first season everyone was drained but there was an energy still....this one everyone just seems beat. I think it just shows that as hard as the shooting was....when you let emergency medical doctors just get in there and do emergency medicine...they can just work through it. But its all the distractions around them, the red tape, the depositions, the insurance juggling, the medical systems not working correctly...that's the stuff that actually drains the soul.

I will miss Mohan, but I do appreciate that the show sticks to its guns about the reality of medical professionals rolling in and out. I also like that there was a little moment with her and Robby, but while it was a moment to heal a bit of the rift, I think its good to highlight there is still not the same "closeness" between Mohan and Robby as some of the other doctors. For example take Javardi, the way Robbi really supported her in their 1 on 1 was great to see. Taht doesn't exist between Robby and Mohan in the same way...which again is very realistic.

Robby and Abbott's conversation at the end was great, but I am actually worried Langdon's talk might have walked back the progress. After Abott's I think Robby was feeling more open and vulnerable and considering, but with Langdon he got defensive again and I worry its going to harden him again towards getting help.

There is also of course the outside curve ball that Robby adopts the Checkov's baby.

I definately think the show is preparing for the possitibility of a Night Crew spin off. They gave them more coherence more identity of a team this time, so I could definately see that possibility. The Pitt: Nightcrawlers coming next season?

TVLINE | Fans will ask, so I'll ask: There's no world in which Robby is fostering Baby Jane Doe in Season 3, right?
No. We joked about it — cutting to him on his motorcycle with the baby in a Baby Bjorn — but no. Whether we follow up with Baby Jane Doe remains to be seen, but he's got his hands full with his spirit quest.

It’s a good show but with all the subtexts that get mentioned and discussed, I hope the writers delve into Robby’s misogynistic tendencies at some point.

Personally, I’m not buying the BS they’re laying out there about Mohan’s arc right now. There was Dr McKay with last season’s troubled teenager arc, and now he’s going after Dr Al-Hashimi.
