They don’t pay $800.I think most people pay more than they realize.
What’s an iPhone sub? You rent your phone?Oh, 2 iPhone subs too until we pay them off but they hate that so they get you to constantly upgrade every two years.![]()

If you go back to his list you'll see that he's included at least 3 fairly expensive business-related services (Microsoft, Adobe, QuickBooks) as well as expensive satellite Internet service. And then far far far too many entertainment services beyond that. So correct, the average person pays nowhere close to his figure. They don’t pay $800.
NFL+ is like 16 bucks a month and you get every game except Monday and Thursday night plus redzone on Sundays. I only mention it because I had cable until a year ago because they didnt offer a sub without a cable package for redzone.I may go back to cable once football season begins.
Well, I wouldn't include utility bills in a list of subscriptions. I mean, if you include my mortgage and my grocery bills, sure! Way over $800!as well as expensive satellite Internet service.
I did not include the internet, nor do I pay $800/month any longer. It is about 200/month now with the business software I am required to have as a contractor.Well, I wouldn't include utility bills in a list of subscriptions. The OP took this from a different thread where I was specifically talking about sub and licenses versus owning. It was not about streaming only.Agreed!
The thread title specifically says the cost of streaming, but then the OP’s list includes a TON of things that are not in any way streaming services.
It seems that what the OP really is complaining about is the high cost of more or less ALL of his monthly bills. Certainly a valid complaint, especially considering all the things on his list (many of which I’ve never even heard of!) but it’s in no way a list of just monthly streaming service
Kind of like starting a thread titled “I Don’t Like Many of the Features in the New D&D” and then listing things he doesn’t like about Call of Cthuthlu, Traveller, and Warhammer along with D&D
Man that sounds nice. I wish I liked watching football, hockey is so insanely stupid in the US to be able to follow a single team all year with their broadcast rights in the US being spread out so much.NFL+ is like 16 bucks a month and you get every game except Monday and Thursday night plus redzone on Sundays. I only mention it because I had cable until a year ago because they didnt offer a sub without a cable package for redzone.
