The price of streaming vs out right owning

More or less. Though, its a superb benefit of not actually having to go to a brick and mortar Walmart itself.
It is a great benefit. However, going into Walmart has the benefit of ensuring an item is in stock. On more than one occasion, the website stated that a grocery item is not in stock, but it on the shelf when physically entering the store.

I don't currently have any subs, used to only be disney, netflix, and dnd beyond but I've since stopped all of them.

I owned a copy of MS office but as soon as I upgraded to windows 11 it was incompatible for some reason, it didn't just stop working it popped up on screen that it was no longer compatible. I assume it was because MS wants me to sub to their office suite of products, just like they want to have me back up to one drive so that I have to pay them more moneu for storage. Microsoft is definitely becomming more scummy with their business practices.

  • Free Delivery and Shipping: Enjoy free delivery on groceries and other items with a $35 order minimum, plus free shipping on online orders with no minimum.

  • Gas Discounts: Save 10¢ per gallon at participating Walmart and other fuel stations.

Early Access: Get early access to annual sales events like Black Friday.

Other Perks: Enjoy benefits like In-Home Returns, mobile Scan & Go, and discounts at Burger King
I dont know if Burger King discounts are really a perk :ROFLMAO:

It may be more of a "if you promise to eat at Burger King, we won't make you set foot in Walmart" situation here.

Dux of one half dozen of the other.

Think we are down to 3 subscriptions. Netflix is bundled with our ISP. We wouldn't pay retail.

We have Amazon and Disney+ with Netflix. Rotating some other seeviced. Think we will cut Disney+ until next Star Wars show.

Should probably cut Amazon. Good back catalog limited new stuff.

Disney Star Wars has been good lately espicially including animated. MCU just don't care about it.

Cut game pass just wasn't gaming enough.

We’re pretty lean with our subs and move around a lot. So we’ve currently got Netflix only to finish off a Korean drama or two and then will move in about a month to Prime (ugh, Amazon) + CityTV in order to watch Poker Face season 2, and then ditch those and move to Apple for a month to watch Murderbot. Back to Disney Plus when Only Murders gets a new season. That sort of thing, so we tend to keep it to about $10-20 a month. Probably more in the winter since we’ll be watching more stuff.
That's a pretty smart way to manage streaming. Requires some dedication.

800! Holy bananas batman!

HBO 14
Amazon 15
Spotify 12
(Not currently subbed to Peacock but I will for NFL season so ill toss it in) 12
NFL+ (also during football season but tossing in) 12
Monthly protein bar supply 15

Amazon black Friday special for two months of P+ for 5 bucks. Hardly worth mentioning.

So, thats 73 bucks a month (for 3 months out of year and then about 1/4 less than that)

Oh, im also still rocking an Iphone 7. You do not need to upgrade every two years.
Also, that’s not a sub. That’s an instalment plan.

But yes, as OP demonstrates you do need to be sensible when buying subs, like anything else. If you are paying for a sub you barely use…maybe stop?

Keeping track of and cancelling them is the pain. It's easy to sign up, easy to lose track of, and can be a bit of a pain to cancel.

The smartest thing I do is cancel something as soon as I sign up for the month... But I'm not always smart.
