The Aevendrow, destroying the kingdom of Many-Arrows, making Gnolls Fiends, resurrecting Tchazzar, Tieflings being universally seen as heroes in UA, making Larian want nothing more to do with them, introducing time travel and multiverses, Vecna: Eve of Ruin, etc.
When you said putting out a lot of bad ideas that implies recently, which many of this stuff is not, and many of these things are subjective.

Larian said nothing about wanting nothing more to do with them, they just are not doing more BG III. Time Travel and Multiverses have existed in D&D since way way before WotC took the helm. Vecna: Eve of Ruin is perfectly fine in my experience, and I don't understand why people are so down on it. Also Tieflings in a UA really?

It's a consistent output of bad ideas that the majority of fans don't like going by reactions.

Oh and also putting all Subclasses at level 3 was another bad idea, it means everyone except beginners are expected to start at 3rd level.

Yes, the PHB explicitly states that they expect people to start at Level 3.

But again, they are on a bit of a hot streak: Vecna and Shattered Obelisk are the weaker releases in the past few years, and even those are mostly full of good ideas, the flaw with those two is the overarching plot. Every other book released in the past three years has been a total banger.
