The Story of the Clan

*Gets up and walks over to the barkeep after Malex walks out.*

"Kind sir, is there anything else we should know to cross the plains? As previously asked, about how far away is our destination? It seems as though our friend is a bit overzealous..."

"Uhm, well, uh, naturally you'll all survive. Mighty Grimknobble the, uh, Mighty, will certainly be the one to survive. Its those other gnomes who might fall in a hole or get eaten by bears, or get lost in the dark or something like that. But you and me, Grim, we'll watch out for them."

*he nods reassuringly*

*Grimknobble relaxes a bit.*

"Well, I suppose you're right... I have survived quite a while in the fights, I'm sure I can survive a while up here." He looks Malex right in the eye, and says with all sincerity, "And we will watch out for the rest, I promise that much to you."

*He turns, and standing next to his companion waits for the rest to join them outside.*

Choosing to ignore Malexander, the barkeep answers Plith instead. "Just be followin' the Ol' Road. It'll take you to the citadell, somewhere to the southwest of 'ere. If you'll be leavin' now, wich I suggest is a good idea, you should be there by nightfall." With that he eyes each and every one of you sternly, then the door.

*The young gnome stops playing and walks over to the bartender.*

"Where can we use gold for thing we need?"

"Ummm...thanks. On my way then!" Plith replies.

*Plith gets up and starts heading towards the door before there is anymore trouble in the bar and tries to get a good look at the indicated direction.*

At the young bards question the barkeep seems to soften somewhat. "You'd like to use some money, would you? Try over at Hucrele's. She's the merchant, just across the road from 'ere. Or you'd talk to Lutgehr, our blacksmith. Bye now."

You leave the Inn, and look around. From where you are you can see a house with a sign bearing the mark of a hammer and anvil over the door just a few houses up the street, and across the street you see a house where people seem to leave and enter all the time. Only a few of the townspeople offer you a glance.

*Looks at the house with lots of people entering and leaving.*

This must be one of those "lady houses" I've heard about...

"Well all, I don't know if you're all ready to go, but I think we've got one more stop to make before we head out..."

*Starts walking towards the prior mentioned building.*
