See, I've seen this a lot, and I just don't agree. It's not a "hardcore vollyball simulation" or anything... It's just *fun*. It plays very nicely, it's easy to learn, and it's relaxing to play.

The DOA games got this too... "nice T&A, bad game"... which simply isn't true. Beyond the T&A, there has always been a good game behind the DOA line. Always.

Personaly, I find the lack of 4 player support the real reason my roommate and I only borrowed DOA:XBV. Two player is fun, but the gameplay is a little shallow for me, at least.

Now if there was four player support I think I'd have found a new Mario Tennis, with cleavage and a number of nice little touches.

I was thinking abot getting it sinc eI'm a fan of the DOA line, but if not for 4 players it fails on its primary purpose for me which would be the party game. They just need a good cart game again.(crash bandicoot was my fav)

Truthfully, my biggest problem is that if I want porn, I'll get porn. If I want a game that plays like Viruta Tennis, then I'll got play Virtua Tennis again.

As for DOA itself....well, it's not exactly Tekken or Soul Calibur. When discussion break out about great 3D fighters, it's second-tier, at least among those I know. YMMV.

I must say, though, unlocked the ninja gadien trailer just recently... intreiguing to say the least.

BUT there's no hawks... how can it be ninja gaiden if hawks arn't owning you throughout half the game?
