Things that annoy your PCs?

Number one hate a DM that you relise is fudging the damage so that there is no possibility that your character is going to die. Doesn't annoy my character but it sure annoys me as a player.

As a character, other PC's that shoot into melee without the precise shot feat. I've had far too many arrows in my back.

 

[Null Boundry]

Being taken prisoner. They seem to have never gotten the hang of it and can't understand why anyone else would.

Skirmish tactics. By and large their favourite tactic is a frontal assault, using skirmish tactics to wear them down really annoys them.

Top3:
Losing equipment.
Having to decide between several bad choices.
Having to run away.

Energy Drain.
Permanent Ability Damage.
NPCs minmaxed to optimize their Sunder.
NPCs minmaaxed to optimize their Grapple.
NPCs minmaxed to optimize their Trips.
NPCs that use hit and run tactics, IE spring attack, blinking through walls, teleport, ranged sneak attacks follwed by silent retreats, etc.

• Moral Quandries.
• Prisoners: What to do with enemies that surrender.
• Prisoners: What to do half way through a dungeon or quest with prisoners that they rescue.
• Monsters that they can't crit. They hate this more than anything else in the world! *EG*

Oh yeah, and on topic - kobolds. They tend not to like kobolds, mostly because I tend to give them levels.

Or, even worse, how abut changing the names of all the monsters so we have no sweet clue of what we're actually fighting?

Plots that make no sense.
NPC's that are not even remotely logical.
NPC's that always seem to have OOC information.

Altered monster names, or just describing monsters so they don't really know what they are up against. Like have a few locals describe the white colored dragon that lairs there blabalbal and there. Something the PC's are after. When they go and confront it it's white alright. But also WIGHT and a former RED so that proved pretty fatal since an undead red is HURTING when you spent all money and spells preparing for a WHITE....

And then offcourse eachother. I have 1 munchkin cant play anything but evil char in my party and who's always a problem. The lucky part is that he always manages to kill himself of in the weirdest of ways, or at least humiliate himself. Last night we almost witnessed him kill himself by failing to jump over a 5 ft chasm, that's a whole DC 5 ! jump check.

But a well....


And offcourse Swim Jump and Climb checks, my party almost always fails them.
