Hmmm...if you think the thread is pointless, why post on it?

Although I SHOULD have included a reserving judgement option. Oh well

I don't like the new DR

i don't like that sorceres still can't quicken

I don't like the lack of mods to the sorcerer skill list

Not lsited I don't like that they didn't do anything with metamagic cause it needs some work.

Things like prestige classes I have some doubts over but not enough was released for me to really make any judgements on it.

They eliminated haste as a spell multiplier, but didn't improve Quicken spell to make it viable or allow sorcerers to use it.

They weakened hold person to the point that I will personally slay with a pencil any party member who wastes a spell slot on it.

They kept the infernal ranger virtual feats.

They put the balance trainwreck Archmage into a core book.

They encourage a golfbag full of odd weapons with thier idiotic new DR.

Other than that, its all good. I mean, assuming that they actually fix the broken stuff. (Which is becoming more troublesome. Why haven't they mentioned the most broken spells in D&D getting a fix? Where's the comments about simulacrum, gate, or shapechange?)

First I have to totaly disagree about the Archmage

Next about that last part...I believe the spells you mention will see work..i think they have actualy mentioned the ones that have gotten the most verbal attention from people(Haste and Harm springing to mind in that area).
