Bandwidth warning for those on dial-up.

For anyone who wants to know where the Epic feat "Infinite Deflection" looks like, look no farther. I love the scene where he's walking up the stairs and the whole army is moving with him.

Seen the movie already. (I'm so bad. As "penance" I'm going to take a bunch of friends to see it on Friday.)

He doesn't resemble any epic DnD characters I've seen, though; he has maybe two magic items -
his sword and his sheath
.

I also saw it on a DVD imported from China (or from where the movie originally comes from; I'm not sure). For those who havent seen it, I really recommend it.

My favorite parts are the duel above the lake and the scene where they are fighting in their minds while the blind musician plays. A real masterpiece.

Saw it at the Cinerama this year. The Cinerama is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge screen with one hell of a soundsystem (thank you Paul Allen).

I like the huge array of lamps that detect hostile intent.

More than an epic DnD hero, to me its like Exalted: The Movie. Huge, overblown powers and stunts, with wuxia martial arts. Yeah, thats Exalted.

Very similarly. A little more.... expieremental with imagry (or color at the least), and it's told in more of an interesting style. However, it felt less concrete in setting.

I'd say Crouching Tiger is the better film, while Hero is the better movie.

Or, if you've already seen the film,
what Infinite Deflection?

Heh, I kid. It's there. But there's one part . . .
