Throwing items ... is quick draw needed?

Example.

Halfling character. Has rapid shot. Whats to throw holy water, daggers, darts, acid, whatever...

... Does he need to have the Quick Draw feat in order to perform multiple attacks each round?

Yes he does. Without the feat, drawing the second weapon or item takes a move action, which cannot be done in the same round as a Full Attack.

The exception is the shuriken. It counts as ammunition, like an arrow or sling bullet, which means you can draw it as a free action.

You can of course have 2 of them ready, one in each hand, and do up to 2 attacks, but for more you need Quick Draw. Probably there are small weapons around in accessory books which allow you do shoot as many as you wish without "drawing", like the Skuriken mentioned, representing (for example) the idea of keeping them in the off hand, and passing them quickly to the right hand - that's at least one visual image for me.
