So, any chance of similar stuff for Africa, Maya/Aztec/Inca, North American Indians (not only the plains folk of legend, but also the river valley and east coast settlements, as well as the confederation up by the Great Lakes), China/Japan/Korea, Ancient Middle East (Egyptians, Babylonians, etc), and especially Renaissance era.

Just some suggestions. :D

Well right now we're doing reading on the following:

1. A Magical Society Builder (This is something that we think has never been done before: ever. *correct me if i'm wrong:D* It's a book that begins explaining how to build worlds -weather, landforms, seas- and then explains biomes -what plants/animals live where and why -and then discusses the effects climate has upon the creation of intelligent societies. We'll talk about different societies and their adaptions to their environment and how to create memorable sociatal groups for your game.

As just a hint of how cool this one's going to be, "All of our energy comes from the sun (barring a few geothermals) and all life depends upon the sun eventually. Now imagine if you added another source of natural energy for ecosystems to tap into: Magic." :D

As always we explain the base with no magic and then talk about how magic can effect things. That way you can scale to the level of magic in your campaign.

The following are less certain, and may be subject to change in order.

2. A Magical Classical Society: Imperium. Imagine rome done the MMS:WE way. We'd analyze typical mindsets and relationship/response patterns to various threats.

3. A Magical Barbaric Society: Land, Sea, Horse. Meet the guys who want to kill you and take your stuff! (No, not adventurers..:D). The MMS:WE treatment of the vikings, germans/goths, and the mongels.

4. A Magical Medieval Society: India. We head east, into a land rarely visited and full of riches. Oh, and get the Kofta Korma when you go, it's awesome, and best eaten with Naan. :)

We're expecting a year per book as our release schedule, so you'll have to be patient. But the wait will be worth it.
