One thing in star trek has become a source of Horror for me. In this new, gritty and dangerous setting, how do you plan on reforming the hated Engine Room? I would like to see somthing less like the glowing blue exposed anti-matter reactor, and more like an armored and sealed chamber with enough radiation to cook an unprotected man in a minute.

Mmmm ... this will do ... yes, this will do nicely, Jephkay. Mystery components, intriguing. Selecting templates, starship construction has begun.

Damn it Verec, I'm a game designer, not an interior artist. Ask Jephkay. :D

Don't forget the ship Hope was found in, I figure it's probably small enough to fit in the cargo bay with room to spare. That should be a source of oddness too.

Interesting idea... They look that way because TV has to be pretty... RPGs just have to look cool.

If you want a darker Trek, why not play in the Empire. The Imperial Fleet, I think, would have the desired feel.

Which Empire? Romulan? Klingon? Or are you suggesting the First Galactic Empire featured so prominently in a much-touted sextology of films over the last 30 years? Hmmm?
