The first Hellboy film was a complete surprise for me, in that I had no inkling on how good it would be. Then again, I had no inkling of what Gulliermo Del Toro was capable of until I saw Pan's Labyrinth. :)

Judging from that trailer, it looks like Del Toro is still employing the same visual style he used for Pan's, which is all good. The creatures here look positively otherworldly and therefore, phenomenal. :) Here's hoping that Del Toro gets the chance to direct The Hobbit or Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness in the future.

I am also looking forward to him doing:

-Frankenstein
-Dracula
-Death
-The Wolf Man
 Is he actually going to go through with those? Besides Tolkien and Lovecraft, the only other genre movie that he's been planning for is a new Tarzan film.

Guillermo del Toro isn't directing The Wolf Man, Joe Johnston is. However, it is starring Benicio del Toro (see my new thread for pix).

Del Toro also wants to do his own, like he wants to do his own version of all of the Universal Monsters.

So there will probably in... 8-10 years be another Wolf Man movie.
