Not really bowled over by the mecha design, but should be a fun watch.

I'm pretty sure I'll be able to watch that movie every day for the rest of my life and never get bored of it once. I don't care what the mechas look like, the monsters are huge, and people are fighting them with giant robots. I'm in.

Bland designs for both the mecha and kaiju, hot hollywood actors of the moment, and way too much fake looking CGI.

The entire theater groaned at this last night, and my first thought was "worst movie ever".....

I admit that giant monsters and giant robots is not my thing, so I wouldn't expect to like this movie - but it will probably be an interesting testing of the waters to see how far that kind of thing has to go at the moment.
